SKILLS & EMPLOYMENT HISTORYA graduate from the College of Engineering at the University of Kentucky, I have been utilizing my Computer Science and Mathematics degree for over eight years as a database programmer, architect, and analyst. The passion I have for my profession yields a diligent work ethic and an unprecedented enthusiasm for the field. I produce high quality work with precision and efficiency, as is reflected in the four promotions I earned within the past eight years.
As a lead database programmer at Ashland, Inc., I supported the national Valvoline Instant Oil Change Point of Sale systems, a Java J2EE/HTML5 based application and set of tools that run at approximately 1,000 stores. Developing numerous applications, tools, and procedures using T-SQL and PL/SQL, my role as the Systems Specialist III deals with unquestionably complex data analysis in a retail business environment across several different database platforms such as Oracle 9i / 10g / 11g and SQL Server 2000 / 2005 / 2008 / 2008R2.
